Shopper is arrested for violating parole conditions
Following the arrest for mafia-type association, extortion and other charges in 2002, and after being spotted by a policeman from the free service; violating his parole last week by shopping at the Mall “La Torre” in Palermo.
The officer reported the individual to Police but he had managed to escape by the time they arrived at the shopping centre. After examining surveillance images the police confirmed that by being in direct contradiction of the terms of his special surveillance obligations set out by the court in 2008, the man was re-arrested at his home. No name was printed.
